Being Sicky is Icky
Hey-o!
Ugh, I am in a crappy mood. Mainly because I have a really bad cold and laryngitis. It started last friday with a slight sore throat then escalated into a really bad cough and stuffy nose, along with my losing my voice (At this point it’s very raspy). My nose feels like it’s on fire from sneezing so much, and my voice sounds like a frog! The ONLY plus side is that I got out of gym on monday, and today I went home after 3rd period. I’m gonna sit out again tomorrow. If it doesn’t go away for a few days I’ll have to see the doctor. I hope it goes away soon cause my mom’s birthday is on thursday and we’re going to my favourite restaurant! I’d like to be able to taste what I’m eating :p Oh, and my parents aren’t letting me stay home from school since I don’t have a fever

So today has been an awesome day for one reason and one reason alone: ME AND EMMA (www.xquisit.wordpress.com) GOT ADAM LAMBERT TICKETS!!!!!!! 
We’re going to see him in Toronto June 19th! Jealous anyone?

(My) High School (‘s) Musical
Is it just me, or does it feel like I haven’t posted in forever? Maybe it’s because I haven’t had the chance to in a while, mainly due to rehearsals and performances. We performed yesterday night…not a huge turnout, which is good because it wasn’t very good. Then this morning we performed for grade 8′s from other schools and this afternoon we performed for our own school. Both were much improved
Then we have a show tomorrow night and Sunday afternoon. Here’s hoping they both go well!
To be honest I’m kind of not excited for it to be over. I’ve made so many new friends, I don’t want to not see them every day! 
I’m also not gonna be sure of what to do with all my free time not being at rehearsal. Guess I’ll have to work on my english summative which is due next monday.

Say Yes to the Dress
Good afternoon (:
So today I was watching an episode of TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress. It’s about a HUGE bridal salon in New York City called Kleinfeld’s. I watch this show so much, I know all the staff and the stock so well that I could probably work there! So as I was saying, I was watching an episode of this awesome show, and it got me thinking about my future wedding. After all, it could be 10 or 15 years away!
My dream dress would definitely come from Kleinfeld’s. It would probably be simple with a bit of ruching detail or something. NO lace and perhaps a little beading. It would probably be in a synagogue, me being Jewish and all.

Hello, Dolly
I’m sorry I didn’t get to post yesterday, I had rehearsal for my school’s musical (which is in 5 days!) It’s Hello, Dolly! To sum up the plot:
There’s a matchmaker named Dolly Levi. She’s headed to Yonkers, New York to set up a rich old guy named Horace Vandergelder with Mrs. Irene Molloy, a hat shop owner. He leaves two of hs workers, Cornelius and Barnaby in charge for the day. But they decide to go to Yonkers too! Meanwhile, Dolly just wants Vandergelder for herself. Cornelius ends up falling in love with Mrs. Molloy and Barnaby with Minnie Fay (who works in the hat shop). Pretty much, a lot of chaos ensues and they end up going to court, but then everything works out in the end.
I have to go to rehearsal today too, and then to a party for a friend of mine. Her birthday was yesterday!
Tomorrow I’ll be spending my day catching up on some work I haven’t had time to do due to all the rehearsals.

Spring has Sprung!
Hello everyone! Before I go on with this post, just a reminder to COMMENT! And to tell your friends about this blog! [My friends are beating me in terms of views per day - haha

Now, to put my love for fashion to use I’m gonna talk about some of the top fashion trends I’ve seen for Spring. I don’t know about you guys, but where I live the weather is warming up fast, and it’s time to get your spring/summer wardrobe out
1) Skirts – Whether it’s high-waisted, jean, poofy, or just plain awesome, a skirt is a necessity for the springtime. You can find awesome ones at stores like American Eagle. They come in different patterns and styles!
2) Jean Jackets – In my opinion, everyone should have one! I found mine at Aéropostale. You can get them cropped, dark, light, longish, etc. Perfect for wearing over a t-shirt when you don’t wanna wear a sweater. [Also very cute with a scarf!]
3) Flats – Where do I begin? Every girl needs a pair of comfortable flats to go with their skirts, for dressy occasions, or just with jeans and a t-shirt! They also come in different fabrics, and can be found at a cheap price at Payless, or fancier styles can be sought out at stores like Aldo.
4) Hoodies – A personal favourite of mine. So many different styles I don’t know where to start! You can get a zip-up one (good for over a tee) or a pullover (good if you have a cute design on it). They can be found pretty much everywhere.
5) Jewlery – Bangles, Chunky Necklaces, Rings, and more! They are a perfect way to spruce up any boring outfit.
